Biography

Huang Xiaolin, Attending Physician, PhD in Ophthalmology. From 2012 to 2014, she was a visiting scholar at the Cleveland Clinic Eye Center, which ranked second overall in the United States. She trained under Professor Fan Xianqun, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education“Changjiang Scholars” Program, President of the Asia-Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Dean of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She specializes in oculoplastic and cosmetic surgery, including double eyelid surgery: suture and incision methods, epicanthoplasty, lower eyelid blepharoplasty for eye bags: internal and external approaches, ptosis, entropion and ectropion, eyelid masses, trichiasis, ocular tumors, etc.

In 2012, she received the “First Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and Second Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education”
In 2016, she received the title of “Outstanding Young Core Talent of Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital”

She has published more than 10 SCI papers in international professional academic journals, including 5 as first author.
As the first principal investigator, she led 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China project and participated in several National 973 Program projects and municipal and bureau-level projects.
